Introduction of new heavy duty lathe

This series heavy duty lathes adopt 1,100mm wide rectangular hardened and ground bed guide-ways, so of excellent stability, high rigidity. It is maximum bearing of 16 tons between centers. The main spindle is of precision roller bearings' 3-point supporting structure. Cross slide guide-ways with Teflon belt coated, rotating tailstock quill structure can minimize friction and heat generation.

These machines are suitable for various turning works, such as turning of external and internal cylindrical surfaces, end faces, and turning of metric, inch threads, modular threads and diametrical pitch threads, etc. Motorized short taper turning could be done by the top slide independently, and long taper's motorized turning could be done by top slide combined with longitudinal feed. Further more, these machines can also carry out drilling, trepanning and boring processes,etc. This machine tool has high power and strong rigidity. It can use the hard alloy cutting tool for thread cutting to process all kinds of black and non-ferrous metals.

Applications:

△ Heavy-duty horizontal lathes are mainly suitable for turning cast iron and steel workpieces. It can do an external cylindrical surface, inner hole and end face turning, the top slide can be used independently for turning of short taper.

△ One-piece cast iron bed, box type internal structure of high rigidity, with hardened guideway, TSF coated carriage to minimize the possibility of low-speed stick-slip.

△ Headstock of heat-symmetrical structure to avoid spindle drifting, oil lubricating to minimize heat distortion. Spindle comes with three support structures to secure accuracy and increase rigidity, all gears quenched and tooth-ground to secure precise transmission and low noise.
