I. Define Requirements and Technical Parameters

Before selecting a lathe, clarify usage needs, workpiece dimensions, and other factors.

  • Workpiece Machining Parameters: Determine the maximum diameter, length, and weight of the workpieces to be machined. These factors dictate the lathe's bed specifications, maximum swing diameter, and load capacity.
